JAMES "NICK" NIXON - Midnight Man - To quote his website, Nick is one of the foremost vocalists in blues today as well as an outstanding guitarist and bandleader. He's now in his sixth decade of performing. His latest album Back Down South is available on CD Baby. Check out this legendary singer's website at nicknixon.com

NIKKI (LEONTI) DAME - Can't Take the Mud Out - When Nikki was set in the booth, and we heard those first few notes, we all just sat there stunned that such an amazing vocal could come out of this petite brunette. I feel so lucky that she had a few days off from her touring schedule to record this song. If you listen, I think you'll know what I mean. I think Dame is her married name. Last I heard, she had moved back to California. Her website now is: nikkidame.com

PERRY DANOS - Mr. Shakespeare - Perry also came to Nashville from Chicago. (We got into a long dialogue about Greek food at the session). He's a South Sider. A very busy talent, always in the studio or on stage which tells you how great he is with jazz, especially backed here by an equally great local jazz trio. More on Perry at perrydanos.com

KARA WILLIAMSON-TUALATAI - What. Are You Crazy? - I think this is the first time I've ever worked with a singer who was about to have her second baby boy (now born). She's a California girl who's married to a Samoan. Petite redhead who currently works as a member of a trio. More on Kara at myspace.com/karawilliamson-tualatai

ROBERT ELLIS ORRALL - Watch your head, Fred - From Massachussetts originally. A songwriter with a stack of number ones. An artist with albums and the other kind of artist (paintings). DAVE BERG - Dixie Blues - Writes cool alt rock songs and in my opinion, very gifted as an artist. Currently has a long string of singles (number one's included) on the country charts by such artists as Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. GARY BURNETTE - In demand on both sides of the ocean, one of today's Guitar gurus whose name you can find on tons of high profile albums. Plus he's produced some major pop and rock acts for Hollywood Records, Columbia NY, big time like that.

BILL MCDERMOTT - Great guy with his own studio on Music Row. Hails from NY state and studied guitar at Berkley. Besides his engineering talents, he's an excellent guitar player, songwriter and producer. But the piece de resistance: man, what a phenomenal mixer he is.

JAMELLE FRALEY - God's Green Earth - Jamie, as I know her, was dating Brandon when I first began working with him. He had just graduated from Belmont U and she was finishing. Now they're Mr. and Mrs. and both have a successful music career. I think Jamie is set to be a BIG STAR. Listen and you'll know why. Website is myspace.com/jamellefraley.

DARREN PIROLLI - No Solutions - I'm sorry that I have little info about Darren. He is a singer songwriter and does do showcases in Nashville. Website is isound.com/crying_on_the_microphone.

JUSTIN SPEARS - Never Tool Old (to Rock & Roll - Justin came from Texas a few years back and is already making an impression as a singer and songwriter. He's pure country and you can tell he spent 4 years fronting a band on the Texas coast! When he isn't singing, he's probably out hunting or fishing which he's been doing since before he even started school. Details at myspace.com/justinspearsmusic.
